For the people who feel that the Porsche 911 GT3 RS is simply beneath them

- Brabus turns the AMG SL 63 S into the 985 hp Rocket GTC DEEP RED.
- Features full custom carbon-fiber bodywork with deep red accents.
- Costs about €697,800 or $810,000 with an all-red luxury interior.
Brabus is a brand for those who don’t just settle for having a car that only the one percent can afford; they want it to be even more special. Oftentimes, they’d really like it to turn heads, too. The Rocket GTC DEEP RED exudes that attitude on every surface.
Underneath the dramatic bodywork sits a Mercedes-AMG SL 63 S Performance. In stock form, it produces 805 horsepower (600 kW). Brabus, however, has never been content with “stock.” After a series of upgrades, the twin-turbocharged V8 now unleashes 985 hp (734 kW) and a staggering 1,342 lb-ft (1,817 Nm) of torque.
In fact, that’s such a high figure that Brabus says it electronically limits torque to protect components. According to Brabus, this car will do 0-100 kmh (62 mph) in 2.6 seconds and drive on to a top speed of 197 mph (317 kmh) if you have the room to do it.

Every body panel here is custom-built for this car, and it shows. Take, for example, the unique front fenders with their deep aero ducts or the sculpted rear fenders with their new bodyline that moves into the rear spoiler.
The DEEP RED name comes from the tinted carbon fiber on every panel. That same theme extends to the wheels, another Brabus creation, with more red carbon fiber as the aero blades around the spokes.
It Looks Familiar Because It Is
Here’s the wildest part: the carbon fiber body seen here isn’t the craziest part of this design. The GTC is essentially a convertible version of a shooting brake that was originally based on a convertible. It builds on Brabus’ Rocket GTS, a shooting brake interpretation of the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 S Performance, but this time the roof has been removed entirely.
That move exposes the neon yellow interior. Just kidding, it’s red too, because why not? Just about every surface of the cabin is bright red. The vast majority are leather surfaces, though we see a bit of foam and plastic here or there. What isn’t red in the cabin is often carbon fiber or switchgear.
For the modest sum of 697,800 euros, or about $810,000, you too can own a Brabus Rocket GTC DEEP RED, because clearly a standard AMG just isn’t expensive enough.
