While the automaker is keeping details under wraps, they confirmed plans for three world premieres. One of them is being billed as an “elegantly sporting one-off designed to provide motoring pleasure for two.”

That’s cryptic, but it sounds like the company could be planning a last hurrah for the Z4. This remains to be seen, but BMW introduced the Z4-based Touring Coupe concept at the event two years ago.
Aside from the mysterious concept, BMW M will showcase several high-performance models and stage a world debut. There’s no word on what it is, but the M2 CS seems like a natural candidate.

Spy photographers have caught the coupe on numerous occasions and it’s expected to combine weight saving measures with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six producing around 525 hp (391 kW / 532 PS). That would be a sizable jump over the regular model, which packs a 473 hp (353 kW / 480 PS) punch.
Last but not least, BMW Motorrad will be on hand to “present a case study in unbridled adrenalin on two wheels.” This suggests we can expect a sporty new concept.
Besides new cars and concepts, “all of the still-surviving original body variants of the BMW 328 that lined up for the 1940 Mille Miglia” will be displayed together. BMW Classic will also be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 3-Series, while the 503 and 507 will also get a nod for their 70th birthday.
