Truck Feature Video: BBT Fabrication’s 1977 C10 Shop Truck Combines Classic Looks, Modern Muscle, And Just The Right Attitude
Plus it does donuts! Yeah, watch the video and you’ll see that this shop truck isn’t some show queen baby that isn’t being driven and used. And for the record, we totally approve. I mean who doesn’t love a squarebody anyway, and especially one that looks like this. After all, it looks like grandpa’s truck, just a little bit nicer. There are all kinds of other cool things in the video too, but this one is the focus. Check it out.
Video Description:
Ok I know the first question on everyone’s mind is not “Tell me more about this cool shop truck C10?” It’s “Show me more of that Moris Minor that’s in the shop?” Sorry I know that was a major tease that really had nothing to do with the shop, but also wanted you to see what’s coming soon out of the killer Fab Shop BBT Fabrications in Mahomet Illinois.
I’m pretty partial to this square body C10 because I have spent a ton of time hanging out the back of the bed Photographing some of the coolest cars to come out of the state of Illinois. Well this time was the shop trucks time to shine, and it received a full photoshoot for a upcoming issue of the print magazine “Classic Truck Performance”.
The truck is also Troy’s Test mule for the parts they are currently making for C10 trucks, and while I was there for the last photoshoot it was up in the air getting an upgraded Bowler Transmission before going on a crazy road trip to the Boston Massachusetts area with the guys from the Roadster Shop.
The truck performed flawlessly, and the doughnut at the beginning of the video is from that roadtrip. while looking relatively stock the truck features a LS swap, upgraded stock style wheels, Suspension upgrades, and a Snowden Seat to make it a really fun driver that you can park anywhere, and not worry about it.
I know you probably think all I am doing is hanging out at BBT fabrications, but I’m not Troy just lets me try out new things with his builds, and has been great in helping me figure out these videos so I can make better ones in the future.
As always hope you enjoy, and thanks for watching @NotStockPhoto
