Another day, another shooting at a Tesla dealership in Oregon. The latest incident took place in Tigard at around 1:46 a.m. on Thursday.
According to the Associated Press, police believe at least seven shots were fired in the early morning hours. These reportedly broke several windows and damaged at least three vehicles. One bullet is also said to have gone through a wall and into a computer monitor.

Oregon Live adds that a Cybertruck was struck and the attack caused “tens of thousands of dollars” in damage. Authorities haven’t said much about the incident, but confirmed they’re working with the ATF as well as the FBI.
The shooting comes hot on the heels of a similar attack at a Tesla store in Salem, Oregon. In that incident, 41-year-old Adam Matthew Lansky allegedly went to the dealership on January 20 and threw a Molotov cocktail that apparently damaged a Model X.
Roughly a month later, on February 19, Lansky reportedly returned and shot several rounds. These hit a vehicle and damaged several dealership windows.
Lansky was arrested earlier this week and is facing federal charges of “illegally possessing an unregistered destructive device.”

While there’s no word on a motive in the latest attack, there have been numerous incidents in the wake of Elon Musk’s questionable salute as well as his purging of government employees as the de facto head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Besides shootings, there have been protests and Nazi graffiti. A supercharger station was also attacked, while Tesla owners have been feeling the wrath.
Some customers are so worried, they’ve expressed fears about being the victim of a “hate crime.” While that might be overly dramatic, owners have reported being yelled at and flipped off. Vehicles have also been damaged and defaced.
