I offered to get in contact with gustav because my car had fuel controller modifications that required gustav to help. This was when he became increasingly ghosty. There came a period where he did not respond to messages. I made a comment on here saying how he was “ghosty” to another member and this promptly got him to reply demanding i take my post down. I agreed and apologized. Eventually i got gustav to reply and i was tired of waiting for Sanders so i went and paid the gustav to unlock stationary antilag(twostep). This pissed Sanders off even further although he never voiced his displeasure until a week ago. At this point sanders has done a full fuel table calibration and i felt he did a good job with the fuel/running tune even though he was unable to add the other features i wanted, so I offered since i got the features i wanted from gustav, to pay him. He refuses. I am completely confused. I think i tried 3-5 times to pay the man for his work. Months pass and something tragic happens to his family. I offer to pay him again with my condolences and he refuses. Months pass and I asked about interest to add true rolling antilag a thing that both gustav and him were working on. He says it is possible. My spec stage 3+ clutch starts slipping so many more months move on while i replaced it and i think perhaps the things i said about him being ghosty and me going to gustav for the part of the tune during this time made him see me more of an annoyance.
Two months later, Once i was able to get a new xclutch in, I contacted him about how he was doing on the rolling antilag and he explains to me that he was done with me when I went to gustav to unlock the stationary antilag, said he was ghosty, and that i was on old software and that it was too much of a pain in the butt for him to port it to new software to work. At this point i begged him to continue tuning for me that i didnt know gustav unlocking a feature for me would offend him and that i apologized and took down the post. A week or so passes with more conversations. I was on the s60r v70r facebook group that he was an admin of and he bans me, completely blocks me, and sends me a comment about a dispute i had with the previous owner of my car(which you can read/ask on my other post). Note that i have done nothing to be banned.
Overall my communication with him expecially through text was hard to understand. He came off as passive aggressive, egotistical during the tuning process, constantly insulting my knowledge on aspects of tuning which I admit I do not know much. I tried my best to be friendly to him throughout the tuning process. It felt like all of my attempts failed and that all of his comments had a secondary meaning behind them. I explained to him that i was not very smart with social interactions but he bashed me the whole time.
i have full transcripts of my conversations with him if anyone is interested. Overall stay away from this guy. Im writing this with the fiery passion of getting banned so there is likely multiple inaccuracies but i just want to get this out there. More edits to come tomorrow. Im just destroyed by this interaction. I feel like there was a lack of communication on both parties. I think he was fed bad/negative information from the previous owner(which i have tried reaching out to with no success), the gustav situation was just cherry on top. I feel what has happened between sanders and me is fine but the disagreements should stay between us. However, he has abused his power and banned me from an entire group for something that shouldve stayed between us.
