What made you decide to go into business for yourself?
Honestly, turning my work into a dedicated business was a big decision, but it came from a place of knowing just how impactful this work could be. For a long time, my healing journey and intuitive gifts were personal—I used them mostly for my own growth and to help people in small, informal ways. But as I started seeing the incredible transformations in those I was guiding, I realized that these gifts could create lasting change in a much larger way. Seeing people reconnect with their inner child, let go of trauma, and truly come into their own strength was powerful. It felt like something I had to bring to more people.
Turning this into a business was about making sure I could reach those who needed this work most. I wanted to create a structured, accessible space where people could find support and feel safe to dive deep into their healing. That’s why I built Soul Thrive, a platform where individuals have the resources, guidance, and community they need to face their shadows and grow. For me, this isn’t just a career; it’s a purpose-driven commitment to helping people transform their lives in a profound way.
What is a typical day like for you?
A typical day for me is actually quite balanced and intentional, especially because it’s so important for me to stay grounded in my own practices while I work with others. My mornings start with meditation—it’s my way of setting the tone for the day and tuning into the energy I’ll be working with. After that, I usually take my dog for a walk; it’s such a peaceful routine, and it gives me a moment to just be in nature before diving into sessions.
Once I’m back, I’ll typically have a few one-on-one sessions with clients, where we dive deep into their personal journeys, work with their inner child, and sometimes explore parts work or soul retrieval. Depending on the day, I might also run an online workshop or teaching session for my Soul Thrive community, which is something I truly love because it allows us to connect as a group and explore topics that resonate on a collective level.
Some days are dedicated to media work or content creation, so I might film videos, prepare materials, or write about the healing topics I’m passionate about. I make sure to balance these busier days with time to connect with friends or do check-ins with people who are important to me. Keeping those personal connections strong is essential for me—it’s like a reset and reminder of why I do this work. Altogether, my day is a blend of working with others, sharing teachings, and staying connected to my own grounding practices, which keeps me energized and centered.
We all face challenges. Looking back, what have been some of the biggest challenges and obstacles you’ve had to navigate?
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced in growing my business has been learning to balance my own energy while being fully present for my clients. Working deeply with people on their traumas and guiding them through their healing can be intense, and early on, I struggled with setting boundaries that allowed me to give my best without feeling drained. I had to learn that taking time for myself isn’t selfish; it’s necessary to maintain the energy I need to show up fully for others.
Another obstacle has been managing the business side of things—marketing, content creation, scheduling—all while keeping the heart and soul of my work intact. It’s easy to get pulled into the technical or logistical parts of running a business, but I want everything I put out there to feel authentic and aligned with my purpose. It’s been a learning curve to navigate this balance, but ultimately, it’s made me more grounded and resilient in bringing this work to more people. Adapting, learning as I go, and keeping my focus on why I started has been key to moving through these challenges.
What are the three most important habits to be a successful high performer or leader?
For me, the three most important habits that contribute to being a successful high performer or leader are self-discipline, staying connected to purpose, and continuous self-reflection.
First, self-discipline is essential because, as much as I’m passionate about what I do, it requires a steady commitment to structure and consistency. Whether it’s sticking to a meditation practice or managing my schedule, staying disciplined ensures that I’m always prepared and grounded for my clients and community.
Second, staying connected to my purpose is what keeps me motivated on even the toughest days. In this line of work, it’s easy to get caught up in the logistics or day-to-day challenges, but I always try to remind myself why I started this journey in the first place: to help people heal and reconnect with their true selves. Keeping that purpose at the forefront gives everything I do meaning and energy.
Finally, continuous self-reflection is a habit I hold close because, as a leader, I think it’s crucial to grow along with my clients. I’m constantly looking at my own patterns, beliefs, and areas of improvement, so I can be the best version of myself for others. This self-awareness keeps me aligned, authentic, and open to learning, which is essential in leading and supporting others effectively.
Do you have a favorite quote or motto that inspires you?
One of my favorite quotes that has always inspired me is, ‘The wound is the place where the Light enters you,’ by Rumi. This line resonates deeply with my work and my own journey because it reminds me that every painful experience, every shadow we face, holds the potential for profound healing and growth. I truly believe that by embracing our wounds and allowing ourselves to heal, we create space for light, transformation, and a deeper connection with our true selves.
This perspective is at the heart of everything I do—whether guiding someone through shadow work, soul retrieval, or inner child healing. My mission is to help people find that light within their own challenges, to embrace every part of themselves, and to transform their lives from the inside out.
