If you’ve been holding off on buying a Corvette Z06, now might finally be the moment to make your move. Just a couple of years ago, some car dealers in the United States were listing brand-new Z06s with markups that felt like punchlines. One dealer in Volo, Illinois, was asking $375,000 for one.

Fortunately, those days are fading into memory. In recent months, prices have started coming back to Earth, and it’s now possible to find low-mileage C8 Z06s selling well below MSRP.

The Riptide Blue Metallic example you’re looking at is one of the most well-specced Z06s we’ve seen. When it was delivered, it had an MSRP of $154,020. Last week, it sold for $131,000 with just 227 miles (365 km) on the odometer on Bring a Trailer. Once Chevy starts selling 2026 models with the updated interior, prices of examples like this one will likely continue to fall, making them even more accessible.
This isn’t the only Z06 that’s been sold recently for well under its sticker price. Last month, a similar example, albeit painted in Rapid Blue, sold for $125,000 despite having an MSRP of $155,970. Like that car, this one was sold with a squeaky clean Carfax report, and includes the owner’s manual, several spare parts, and two keys.

Several expensive options have been added, including the $8,995 Z06 Ultimate Performance Package that adds Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, the Z07 suspension, and stickier tires. It also has the $10,495 visible carbon fiber aero kit, which includes that massive rear wing, front dive planes, and a new front splitter. The Sterling Silver racing stripes were also a $1,195 option.
A Serious Value Against Most Rivals
At just a touch over $130,000, a well-equipped Corvette Z06 like this is a seriously tempting proposition. To get behind the wheel of a new Porsche 911 GT3 in the US, you’ll need to spend at least $224,495.

It’s also worth noting that used Ford GTs continue to sell for upwards of $1 million, even though its 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 has less power than the Z06’s naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8. Sure, the GT is much more limited and fitted with a manual transmission, therefore making it more collectible, but as a driver’s car, the Z06 is right up there with the best of them.
