SoFlo Customs Unleashes Hellfire at Grand Opening in Tampa

In an unforgettable spectacle, SoFlo Customs kicked off the grand opening of their Tampa dealership and 6×6 Experience Center with a bang—literally. The event was nothing short of a showstopper, featuring a dramatic ribbon-cutting ceremony with none other than the Mayor of Tampa, Jane Castor.

But this wasn’t your average ribbon-cutting. Instead of the usual ceremonial scissors, the mayor herself was at the wheel of an Apocalypse Hellfire truck, a 6×6 monster custom-built by Apocalypse Manufacturing, known for creating some of the most powerful and durable trucks in the world. As the crowd looked on, the truck roared into action, tearing through a massive ribbon with an exhilarating display of 500 plus horsepower and precision. The roar of the engine echoed through the lot as the Mayor sent the truck soaring through the ceremonial line, signaling the official opening of SoFlo Customs’ third retail location in the Sunshine State.

This new dealership, located at 5626 N Dale Mabry Hwy in Tampa, marks a significant expansion for SoFlo Customs, which has already built a reputation for offering some of the most formidable vehicles on the market. Known for their 6×6 and 4×4 trucks that pack between 500HP and 850HP, SoFlo Customs is redefining the custom truck experience. With the new Tampa location, locals can now test drive these monstrous machines right in their own backyard.

A military vehicle customized by SoFlo Customs bursts through a “Grand Opening Tampa” banner in a parking lot as onlookers watch and photograph the thrilling event under a sunny sky.

Beyond the explosive ribbon-cutting, the event also served as the launch of Truck Dynasty, a brand-new Discovery Channel TV show that brings viewers behind the scenes of the wild world of custom trucks. Members of the cast were on hand to chat with fans and media, offering a glimpse into the making of the show and the engineering marvels that are the hallmark of Apocalypse Manufacturing.

For those looking for a firsthand experience, the event included exclusive media test drives of the Apocalypse 6×6 and 4×4 models, giving attendees the chance to get behind the wheel of these high-powered vehicles. The test drives were a hit, with attendees raving about the raw power and exceptional handling of the trucks.

Joseph Ghattas, President of SoFlo Customs and Apocalypse Manufacturing, was on hand to give interviews and share his vision for the future of custom trucks. The event also saw support from the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce and the Tampa Bay Jeep Club, making it clear that the opening was not just a corporate milestone, but a significant event for the local community as well.
