A Polestar Australia spokesperson told Drive the 2026 Polestar 2 is “on track” to arrive in local showrooms between July and September 2025, about 12 months after its last update, with pricing and specifications to be confirmed at a later date.
Polestar has added an optional 14-speaker, 1350-watt Bowers & Wilkins audio system – also used in vehicles from its Volvo sister brand, and the Polestar 3 SUV – to join the standard, unbranded speakers and mid-tier, extra-cost Harman Kardon system.
It includes ‘tweeter-on-top’ technology to improve audio clarity and accuracy, along with midrange speakers to minimise distortion.
