Cadillac is giving us a glimpse of what happens when its V-Series performance heritage meets all-electric innovation — and the result is unlike anything we’ve seen from the brand before. Debuting at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, the Elevated Velocity concept is a bold 2+2 electric crossover designed to dominate both the highway and the desert.

The Elevated Velocity hints at future styling, technology, and performance capabilities that could shape the next generation of Cadillac’s high-performance luxury EVs.
Cadillac already has the LYRIQ-V and OPTIQ-V for performance-minded EV buyers, but Elevated Velocity takes things to another level. It’s built to deliver hypercar-like acceleration on-road while still tackling extreme off-road environments. It rides on massive 24-inch wheels and featuring a lifted stance, making it perfect for paved and unpaved roads.
There are selectable drive modes allow the driver to fine-tune the experience:
- e-Velocity Mode sharpens responses for intense on-road driving, evolving Cadillac’s current V-Mode.
- Terra Mode maximizes off-road ability with an air suspension lift.
- Sand Vision improves visibility in sandstorms, similar to Night Vision but optimized for desert driving.
- Elements Defy uses dust-repelling vibrations to keep the exterior clean.

Inside, the Elevated Velocity pushes Cadillac’s luxury game forward. The cabin is drenched in deep reds — Morello leather, Cerise fabric, and Garnet boucle — with brushed metal accents and 3D-printed door panels inspired by desert polo.
Tech plays a starring role. The concept features three immersive modes:
- Welcome Mode greets occupants with illuminated seats, dash, and floor, plus dramatic gull-wing doors that rise to reveal the cabin.
- Elevate Mode retracts the steering wheel and pedals for autonomous driving, turning the cabin into a recovery space with ambient red lighting, breathing cues, infrared therapy, and climate optimization.
- Velocity Mode transforms the cockpit into a focused driver’s space with white lighting, backlit doors, and an AR head-up display showing speed, battery status, and navigation.

The Vapor Blue exterior — with icy grey undertones — contrasts against the fiery red interior. Blue-tinted glass and Cadillac’s signature vertical lighting give it an unmistakable presence, while gull-wing doors and flax fiber-acrylic wheels highlight the concept’s mix of performance engineering and visual drama. The sleek profile retains Cadillac’s long-hood proportions from models like the Celestiq but adds a more rugged, athletic stance.
The concept is topped off with a custom hand-crafted polo set in the rear.
