Brabus Rocket GTC Deep Red at Pebble Beach 2025

After unveiling the Brabus 1000 coupé based on the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance a few days ago, Brabus will showcase, in a world premiere at Pebble Beach, the roadster version—Brabus Rocket GTC Deep Red.

Brabus has prepared a surprise for Pebble Beach 2025: the roadster version of the Brabus 1000, called the Brabus Rocket GTC Deep Red, whose body is made entirely from carbon fiber using the prepreg autoclave process and finished with a transparent red coating.

Brabus pursued two main objectives in developing this hyper roadster:

To this end, note the aero blades behind the front wheels, also made from red exposed-structure carbon, whose sophisticated design channels the heat generated during braking out of the wheel wells while driving. At the front, the large air intakes direct airflow to the radiators and front brakes. The front splitter features an integrated spoiler that generates downforce on the front axle at high speeds.

From the wide front wheel arches, the side sills channel airflow toward the rear side panels, giving the new open-top supercar its imposing width of 198.5 centimeters (78.1 in.) at the rear axle.
Under the extra-wide Kevlar wheel arches sit five-spoke, center-lock Brabus Monoblock P Platinum Edition wheels—10.5J x 21 inches at the front and 12J x 22 inches at the rear—fitted with Continental SportContact 7 tires, sized 275/35 ZR21 in the front and 335/25 ZR22 at the back.

At the rear, the full-width ducktail-design spoiler and diffuser stand out, perfectly showcasing the four titanium tailpipes of the high-performance exhaust system—illuminated in red and, of course, clad in red exposed-structure carbon.

The interior is upholstered in fine leather in a perfectly matched shade of red. The flawless execution of the leatherwork is especially evident in the precise quilting in the Brabus “Shell” design on the seat surfaces, door and side-panel armrests, footwell trim, and leather floor mats. The fine leather upholstery blends perfectly with the carbon fiber elements, while the pedal pads, parts of the steering wheel rim, and the illuminated Brabus-logo entry sills are also made from the same carbon fiber.

The powertrain is identical to that of the Brabus 1000. The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance, producing 612 PS and 850 Nm in stock form, has been extensively modified—increasing displacement to 4.5 liters and delivering 796 PS and up to 1,250 Nm, though limited to 1,050 Nm.

The permanently excited synchronous electric motor on the rear axle is the same as in the production model, producing 204 PS and 320 Nm. Combined, the system delivers 1,000 PS and up to 1,820 Nm, electronically limited to 1,620 Nm—compared to 816 PS and 1,420 Nm in the production version.

The Brabus Rocket GTC accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds, reaches 200 km/h in 9.5 seconds, and hits 300 km/h in 23.6 seconds, while top speed is limited to 317 km/h. The price is exorbitant, even higher than the Brabus 1000: €830,382 including Germany’s 19% VAT—about €300,000 more than the Brabus 1000.
