A new video series pulls the curtain back on the Sonderwunsch world.
Over 75 years of history have made Porsche one of the most celebrated manufacturers on the automotive landscape. However, beyond the cars themselves, Porsche is known by its legions of fans across the globe for its ability to be a stunning canvas for personal expression. Thanks to its unique interior options, incredible library of Paint to Sample colors, and most prominently, its Sonderwunsch program with historical roots that offers the potential for bespoke builds, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur is one of the most exciting aspects of Porsche as a whole.
Sonderwunsch is the current highest level of individualization available from Porsche, creating stunning bespoke builds with unique colors, interiors, and unique touches throughout, and a new video series from Porsche is showcasing various Sonderwunsch builds, showcasing both the virtually limitless possibilities with Sonderwunsch, and the wide range of clients and builds that Sonderwunsch is capable of creating.
Four stories are available to watch now, showing behind-the-scenes insights of the effort, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and curation that go behind a Sonderwunsch build. The first is about Luca Trazzi, an Italian architect and designer with a one-off iteration of the 993 911, a Speedster variant that was only a dream before.
The second is a US-based horse breeder, Jorge Carnicero, who personalized a 911 S/T with a “Dani Blue” exterior color, and uphosltered the interior with a tri-color Pepita houndstooth. German motorcycle enthusiast Sylvia Schiefer’s 911 Targa 4 GTS features unique Pure Blue leather accents throughout the interior, and Hadi Al Hussaini from Dubai paired Aetna Blue with a Cohiba Brown leather and Truffle Brown, Cognac, and Aurum tartan fabric interior for his Porsche 911 Dakar. With the video series showcasing wildly different builds, each one represnts the culmination of a personal story and the stunning, unique craftsmanship ability of Porsche Sonderwunsch.
