Ridetech has been one of the premier bolt on suspension system companies for muscle cars, street machines, hot rods, classic and modern trucks, and more for decades. They have always focused on bolt on suspension components that make your ride handle as good, or better, than any modern ride. But in the last year they have been making big waves as they have been pushing the development team to the limit. The result has been some really cool new products.

It started out with their new replacement front subframe for 1st Gen F-Bodyand which really lit the world on fire at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas and is now moving to a completely new level with the new Momentum Chassis. This is the first in the new Momentum line and is being offered for 1968-1972 GM A-Body to start, with more to come!

Check out all the info and links below!

Ridetech, a leader in air and coil-over suspension systems for more than 30 years, proudly announces the launch of its MOMENTUM Chassis Series . This all-new platform gives classic muscle car enthusiasts a clean-slate foundation for their next project—delivering modern handling, increased performance, and design flexibility beyond the limits of factory frames.

The first release in the series supports 1968–1972 GM A-Body coupes, including the Chevrolet Chevelle, Buick Skylark and GSX, and Oldsmobile 4-4-2, with additional chassis applications to follow.

Next-Level Design & Engineering

Unlike traditional bolt-on systems, MOMENTUM chassis designs are not restricted to original suspension pickup points. This freedom allowed Ridetech engineers to implement optimized suspension geometry, resulting in:

  • Sharper cornering and improved stability

  • Enhanced comfort for street driving

  • Confidence-inspiring control at autocross or track events

Key engineering highlights include:

  • Rack-and-Pinion Steering – Delivers precise handling and better driver feedback

  • Expanded Wheel & Tire Clearance – Supports a wider range of modern fitments

  • Modular Suspension Options – Choose Air or Coil-over setups

  • Performance Dampers – Available in HQ Single-Adjustable and TQ Triple-Adjustable configurations

  • The ability to utilize OE-style carbureted or EFI fuel tanks or custom fuel cells

Engineered for Enthusiasts

The MOMENTUM Chassis Series continues Ridetech’s commitment to innovation and versatility. Builders can now enjoy the benefits of a fully engineered chassis while tailoring the suspension to their preferred style of driving—whether that’s comfortable street cruising, high-performance autocross, or full track use.

Note: Current applications do not include A-body convertibles, El Caminos, or wagons.
