Wade, from Whips by Wade, is a friend of mine who puts on awesome car shows. He’s an awesome human being, a great promoter, and he’s one hell of a photographer in his own right. So it’s awesome that one of our other photographer buddies, John Jackson, was at his show recently and is sharing this great car show video below. I dig it, and am happy to see more of my friends working together.

I’ve become friends with Wade more commonly known as Whip or Whips by Wade, and Wade is a incredible photographer based in Atlanta Georgia.
Wade is one of my favorite follows on Instagram he photographs the best cars in the Atlanta area, but I actually have never seen Wade in his own hometown. We usually wind up at a Car show in some other state than we are from, and that’s probably why we have become friends “We Love Custom Cars, and we don’t mind traveling.”
Well Wade has been hosting the Certified Summer Car Show for the last seven years, and I really tried to make his car show last year because he is always tempting me with cool photos of killer lowriders and Box Chevys with crazy slick paint.
Well I missed last years show do to scheduling conflicts, but this year I was headed south from Boston Mass to Florida for a photoshoot for the Axalta Calender. This put me in Atlanta a couple of days before the show so that gave me time to visit the guys @autometaldirect in Gainesville Georgia, and take the factory tour. Saturday rolled around, and as always I was excited to check out a show Ive never been too, and also see cars Ive never seen in person. Wade said “Man Im not getting there till 9” after I told him I was going to leave the campground at 6 a.m so I sat around super impatient to see cool cars till 8 then headed south for the Atlanta Expo Center, and what was going to turn out to be a really awesome event.
I can’t hide the fact about how much I love lowrider, and I didn’t have to wait long to catch the lowriders who where part of his top 25 that where parked right up front. I tell you that Bad blood red impala is phenomenal, and too be honest all the lowrider didn’t disappoint.
I know most of you are on here to see hotrods and customs, but I love a great Box chevy or caprice that’s super slick on a killer set of wheels(This video will really piss off the “Dem wheels too Big Crowd”haha) Can’t thank Wade, and all the car owners/builders who let me poke around, and get in their way while they were trying to get set up for the show ………such an awesome day.
Can’t recommend this car show enough, and Wade also made me promise I wouldn’t use the word “HotLanta” anywhere in my video so I think accomplished that even though it was pushing 100 degrees.
I actually bailed out before the show really kicked off, and everyone started cruising(I was trying to make florida before sunset) There where a ton of great creators with Youtube and Insta pages that will have better coverage than this so check them out.
Can’t wait to go back to Atlanta, Hang out with Wade, and see more cool cars. Thanks for watching @NotStockPhoto
