Shawn Langdon surged into the Top Fuel points lead at Pacific Raceways, defeating Brittany Force in the final round of the NHRA Northwest Nationals. Langdon’s blistering 3.662 at 337.07 mph in the 12,000-horsepower Kalitta Air Careers dragster marked his third win of the season and 22nd career victory, earning his first win at the Seattle-area track.

Langdon’s path to the win included key round wins over Cameron Ferre and points rival Tony Stewart. Force made history in the semifinals with a record-breaking 341.85 mph pass—fastest in NHRA history—but lost traction in the final, allowing Langdon to secure the win and a 12-point edge over Stewart—as the series heads to Sears Point in Sonoma, California.

Also victorious in Seattle were Matt Hagan (Funny Car), Dallas Glenn (Pro Stock), and Gaige Herrera (Pro Stock Motorcycle) at the 11th of 20 events in the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series.

Funny Car veteran Matt Hagan (above) finally found victory lane in 2025, powering his Direct Connection Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat to a 3.904 at 331.94 mph in Sunday’s final at the NHRA Northwest Nationals in Seattle. Hagan edged out Ron Capps to earn his 53rd career win and his second at Pacific Raceways, the first back in 2013.

The four-time NHRA champ had been solid all season but winless—until now. After qualifying second with a 3.887 at 332.43, Hagan posted a pair of 3.80s on race day and took out Buddy Hull, Jack Beckman, and Alexis DeJoria on his route to the final. A solid .054 reaction time sealed the deal for Hagan, who jumped to third in points.

The victory was also the first Funny Car win for rookie crew chief Mike Knudsen, making the return to the Seattle winner’s circle even sweeter for Tony Stewart Racing. Ron Capps reached the championship round for the fourth time in 2025 and the 156th time in his career. Points leader Austin Prock heads to Sonoma with a 140-point lead over Beckman.

In Pro Stock, Dallas Glenn finally broke through at his home track, for his first career victory at Pacific Raceways. Driving the RAD Torque Systems Camaro, Glenn capitalized when Jeg Coughlin Jr. fouled in the final round, handing Glenn the win. The triumph marked Glenn’s fourth win of the 2025 season and the 17th of his still-young Pro Stock career.

Pro Stock Motorcycle star Gaige Herrera continues his meteoric rise, becoming the quickest driver in NHRA history to reach 25 career wins. Herrera powered his RevZilla/Motul/Vance & Hines Suzuki to a blistering track-record 6.690 at 201.55 mph to defeat Richard Gadson in the final round at Pacific Raceways.
