Jeep’s new Gladiator range is available in just a single Rubicon variant, priced at $82,990 BOCs, with new updates designed to add value.

  • Night Eagle variant deleted, Rubicon flagship remains
  • Bigger 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen
  • Priced from $82,990 before on-road costs

Jeep Australia has consolidated its Gladiator dual-cab ute line-up to a single variant, the top-spec Rubicon, and brought down the asking price by about $4200.

However, by eliminating the previous entry-level Night Eagle, the point of entry to the line-up now kicks off at $82,990 before on-road costs, up from $78,250.

Still, Jeep has added more value to the 2025 Gladiator Rubicon, bundling the Lifestyle Adventure Group package that was priced at $2950 and adds lockable under-seat storage, a 240-amp alternator, Bluetooth speaker, and spray-in bedliner, as standard equipment.

Ostensibly, comparing last year’s equivalent grade to the new Gladiator Rubicon saves buyers $7210.

Of note, the 2024 Gladiator Rubicon was offered at $76,000 drive-away, a saving of around $16,000, on sale as part of Jeep’s end of financial year deals that finished June 30, 2025.

In addition to the Lifestyle Adventure Group package features, the 2025 version also boasts a revised front grille, fresh-looking wheels, body-coloured fender flares, added underbody skid plate, Nappa leather seats, and a larger 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system.

However, the biggest tell of a new 2026 Gladiator might be the stealth antenna that replaces the steel version of the prior year.

The new interior also gains a wrapped instrument panel with contrast stitching, and an Attachment Mounting Pattern Standard (AMPS) bracket as standard.

As before, the Gladiator continues to be propelled by a 3.6-litre Pentastar, which produces 209kW/347Nm, and is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Fuel economy is pegged at a claimed 12.4 litres per 100km, while braked towing capacity is measured at 2721kg.

The Gladiator also comes fitted with a number of off-road features such as an electronically disconnecting front sway bar, 32-inch off-road tyres wrapped around 17-inch aluminium wheels, and underbody protection.

Remaining options include premium paint ($1145) and a body-coloured hard top ($1950).
