Removing sunroof lining | SwedeSpeed

My sunroof cover lining was all loose and sagged quite a bit. I have searched the internet to see if it was possible to remove that cover without removing the roof lining. If the roof lining was bad, yes complete removal was the way to go, but in my case, my roof lining is in very good condition, so ideally I would just want to remove the sun roof cover.
With no other option as to remove the roof lining I decided to go about it from the back, up until a point where I can just get my hand in to remove the sun roof cover stops and slide the cover out. So here goes step by step the proses to remove the sunroof cover without completely removing the roof liner.
1. Remove the 2 small covers in the back cover with a thin screwdriver to get access to the 2 torx screws, remove them and clip the back center cover out and remove.
2. The two rear corner covers just clip of so just pull on them at the top (close to the roof) and once unclipped hook them out at the bottom. be carful since there is a speaker wire connected to them, unclip the wire and remove the covers.
3. Now with that thin flat screwdriver remove the covers in the cargo net retainers, once removed use a 13 mm(1/2inch) socket and remove the bolts in each of them.
4. Next in the center at the rear roof light is a clip, this clip is fairly tight and I found the easiest way to remove it was to turn it 90 degrees. Once turned it pulled out easily.
5. Now the cover on the pillars behind the rear doors. They also just clip out. Start with a big flat screwdriver and unclip the first clip closest to you (if you are standing in the rear door) at the top of the cover close to the roof. Now push the screwdriver deeper in and unclip the second clip at the top of the cover. Now the cover is loose and simply has to be lifted. The safety belt goes through this cover so just let it rest to the side.
6. Now use that thin flat screwdriver and remove the pugs in the grab handles above the rear doors. Use an 8 mm socket to remove the 2 bolts on eighter side.
7. Once the bolts for the grab handles are removed the roof lining dropped enough so that you can get your hands in there. Be carful not to push down on the roof lining to prevent it from folding causing to damage it.
8. Locate the 2 white stoppers on the track of the sunroof cover guide, push up on the stoppers, and remove them. Take note that these stoppers are not interchangeable.
9. Now the sun roof cover can slide out towards the back. This is also an easy way to replace the guide clips of the cover.

So with the cover removed I could reglue the material of the sunroof cover and refit it back. The most difficult part of this job was to put the cover back in the guides. To get the cover slides back in the track without breaking them. Here it would be helpful if you have a spare set of hands.
Once that is done reverse the steps above.
When I removed the left side pillar cover I noticed that the one sunroof drain pipe was pinching, so I was grateful that I could sort this out before that created another problem.

I hope that this thread is helpful to someone with similar problems.
