- Genesis offers a few accessories for the 2025 G80, but no packages
- Each of the five trim levels of the G80 comes with a long list of standard features
- Buyers who want more customization may need to get creative
The 2025 Genesis G80 is a midsize luxury sedan. Luxury buyers have learned to expect a wide variety of option packages when they shop for a new car. Genesis, a relative newcomer to the luxury market in the U.S., takes a different approach. The company offers the G80 in five distinct trim levels with a short list of available accessories, but no option packages.
Each trim level brings incremental upgrades to standard equipment. For instance, the base 2.5T AWD model gets 18-inch alloy wheels, the 2.5T Advanced gets 19-inch wheels, and the 2.5T Sport Prestige gets 20-inch versions. The 2.5T AWD comes with heated leatherette seats front and rear, the 2.5T Advanced adds ventilation to the front seats, and the 2.5T Sport Prestige upgrades to leather seating surfaces.
The factory’s available accessories are fundamental, and Genesis offers them à la carte. Buyers can add all-season fitted liners ($235), a cargo organizer ($180), and mudguards ($160) to any model. Premium exterior paint selections run from $650 to $1,500.
Dealers may offer additional accessories, options, and bolt-ons, but they would not be part of the original equipment list for the G80. You might see aftermarket wheel and tire packages, weather protection, door guards, and other add-ons at the point of sale. You may upgrade or personalize aspects of your new luxury sedan – that’s your prerogative. Genesis has consciously decided to keep the G80 lineup streamlined, well-equipped, and value-packed.
