Following our initial dyno session shortly after delivery, many of you will recall IND’s G90 M5 being the first independently tested example on the rollers. That baseline run at Performance Eurowerks in Elk Grove, IL produced an impressive 696.13 whp @ 5,230 RPM and 729.59 wtq @ 2,420 RPM in completely stock form. Since then, we’ve continued to develop our G90 platform and returned to the same dyno, with the same vehicle, for a follow-up performance evaluation. At IND, our focus has never been on building 1,000 hp race-fueled BMWs. Instead, we concentrate on reliable, real-world upgrades that enhance performance without compromising daily drivability. The bolt-on modifications we’ve added, while running on pump gas deliver a meaningful increase in power while preserving the car’s OEM refinement and reliability. This dyno session is a strong example that more power doesn’t always mean more risk. With the right components, reliable gains are absolutely achievable.

This time around, we installed:

Eventuri’s fully prepreg Carbon Intake System + Turbo Inlet Set

Eisenmann Performance Exhaust System

CSF High-Performance Charge Air Coolers

RaceChip GTS Black module, set to Map 7

While the baseline session benefited from MUCH cooler conditions back in November, our latest test took place during a heat wave with ambient temps near 100°F and extremely high humidity. We ran on 93 octane pump gas for both sessions to keep comparisons as consistent as possible.

Despite the challenging temps, the results speak for themselves:

757.01 whp @ 5,110 RPM

828.07 wtq @ 3,740 RPM

That’s a gain of +60.88 horsepower and nearly +100 lb-ft of torque over stock — showing just how capable this platform is with the right upgrades.
