There are concepts—and then there are concepts. The Bentley EXP15 is, thankfully, just that: a concept. A design study. A vision of an electric future. Let’s hope the vision embodied by the EXP15 remains just that—safely stored in the archives of concept design, never to be revisited. We love design concepts here at the Daily Car Blog, but that doesn’t mean we have to love all of them.

Concept vehicles offer designers the freedom to explore bold ideas without the constraints of manufacturing limitations or regulatory requirements. But sometimes, things go awry—and unfortunately, that’s the case with the Bentley EXP15. It looks more Peugeot than Bentley, and that alone should serve as a cautionary tale.

So what is the Bentley EXP15 about? It’s about a bold expression of the brand’s future design direction. Drawing inspiration from the 1930 Bentley Speed Six “Blue Train” coupe, paying homage to Bentley’s past while being reimagined for the present.

Though not intended for production, the concept offers visual cues for upcoming models, including Bentley’s first fully electric car.

Inside, the EXP 15 features virtual reality software and the cabin mixes finely crafted seats and a wing-shaped dashboard, with digital elements that can appear or disappear based on mood or need.

The three-seat, three-door layout adds a unique twist, offering enhanced comfort and exclusivity, while clever storage options accommodate pets or luggage. The boot space transforms into elegant picnic seating when the car is stationary.

Material choices include a rich damson-hued wool textile by historic British weaver Fox Brothers is paired with 3D-printed titanium finishes.

The user experience is also a priority, with the vehicle designed to act as an intelligent, adaptive presence—part conductor, part concierge. At this stage, the EXP15 is purely a design study. Bentley has not revealed any technical specifications or details about a potential platform.
