If you’ve just absolutely, positively got to have a 2025 Corvette ZR1, a dealership in California thinks you might be sucker enough to pay a cool half-million bucks for one.
That’s right, the crazy shenanigans over Chevy’s hypercar have already begun, at least at FH Dailey Chevrolet in San Leandro.
That dealership has a Competition Yellow Tintcoat ZR1 that looks a lot like the one being used in Chevy’s marketing materials.

With options like the 3LZ package, Carbon Fiber Aero Package (RPO TOM), front lift (E60), carbon flash wheels (SOG), yellow brake calipers (J6E), competition sport bucket seats (AE4), and a few extra yellow accents – but NO ZTK, this ZR1 totals out at a whopping $206,280, including destination charge and gas guzzler tax.
That’s a long way from $500,000, though! And while the ZR1 may be an unbelievable car, it’s not worth half a million bucks, at least in our humble opinion.
A member of the “Corvette C8 Z06, ZR1 & E-Ray” group on Facebook reached out to the dealer and got this reply:

That dealership isn’t the only one trying to get rich off the ZR1, however, as GM Authority told last month about another store offering a similarly equipped car that was in transit on the same Facebook group for a markup of $100,000 over the MSRP of $206,080. Other allocations at that same dealership were being offered with a $50,000 markup.
Thank goodness for sensible salesmen like Mike Furman whose customers have secured their ZR1s at sticker price.
