Lando Norris delivered a much-needed performance, leading and defending against his hard-charging teammate to secure a hard-fought victory in a tense Austrian Grand Prix.
Norris claimed his third win of the season, holding off multiple attacks from teammate and championship leader Oscar Piastri. Norris led from pole but briefly lost the position before quickly reclaiming it, fending off intense pressure through strategic tyre management and defensive driving.

The upgraded Ferraris performed solidly, with Charles Leclerc finishing on the podium and Lewis Hamilton securing fourth. George Russell was the only Mercedes to finish, coming home fifth after rookie teammate Kimi Antonelli collided with Max Verstappen on Lap 1, eliminating both.
Liam Lawson maintained his strong qualifying to finish sixth, ahead of Fernando Alonso and Sauber’s Bortoleto, who scored his first F1 points. Nico Hulkenberg’s recovery drive earned him and Sauber a double points result, with Esteban Ocon rounding out the top 10.

Further down, Ollie Bearman, Isack Hadjar, and a struggling Pierre Gasly missed out on points, while Lance Stroll, Franco Colapinto, and Yuki Tsunoda completed the finishers. Colapinto and Tsunoda each received penalties for incidents, while four drivers—Verstappen, Antonelli, Alex Albon, and Carlos Sainz—failed to finish, with Sainz unable to start due to a grid issue.
