Genesis Motor UK has officially unveiled the extensively updated Genesis GV60, offering up to 348 miles of all-electric range (WLTP) along with bold new styling, advanced technology, and enhanced performance. As the brand’s first dedicated all-electric model, originally introduced in 2022, the new GV60 reaffirms Genesis’ position in the premium EV segment.
Sleek Design Meets Advanced Aerodynamics
The latest GV60 debuts with an elegant evolution of its iconic athletic styling. New front and rear bumpers enhance both aesthetics and aerodynamics, reducing drag to an impressive 0.28Cd. Body-coloured wheelarches, bumper inserts, and a redesigned rear diffuser further refine its modern look.
At the front, Genesis’ distinctive ‘Two-Line’ quad LED headlights now come standard with Micro-Lens Array (MLA) technology for sharper, more focused illumination. Two newly designed 20-inch and 21-inch alloy wheelscomplement the SUV’s profile, while a refreshed exterior colour palette introduces 14 stylish paint options, including the striking Tromso Green Metallic.
Refined Interior with High-Tech Enhancements
Inside, the GV60 blends sophistication with futuristic tech. A new 27-inch connected car Integrated Cockpit (ccIC)merges the infotainment and digital instrument cluster into one seamless panoramic screen. A reimagined three-spoke heated steering wheel now includes Hands-On Detection for enhanced driver safety.
Genesis offers expanded interior personalisation options, including colour themes such as Obsidian Black, Aqua Green & Galaxy Black, and Sky Blue & Prussian Blue, giving customers the freedom to customise their cabin space.
The ccIC also brings a suite of premium connected services to European customers, including Disney+, Netflix, Bloomberg Media, and more – all available directly from the in-car entertainment system.

Improved Range, Faster Charging & Engaging Drive
Built on the dedicated E-GMP platform, the GV60 features a new 84kWh battery, offering an estimated WLTP range of up to 348 miles on two-wheel drive models. Thanks to its 800V charging architecture, the GV60 supports ultra-fast 10-80% charging in just 18 minutes via a 350kW charger.
Driving engagement is enhanced by the optional Virtual Gearshift (VGS) system, allowing drivers to simulate the feel of a traditional gearbox and fine-tune regenerative braking. Meanwhile, the Smart Regenerative Braking System 3.0automatically adjusts braking based on traffic and navigation data, improving energy recovery and ride comfort.
Performance enthusiasts will appreciate the hidden Drift Mode, designed for closed-course conditions, and the available Electronic Limited Slip Differential (E-LSD). Equipped with dual 180kW motors delivering up to 700Nm of torque, the all-wheel-drive GV60 can sprint from 0-62mph in just 4.0 seconds using Boost Mode.
Smart Tech and Premium Audio
Optional features further elevate the GV60’s appeal. A Bang & Olufsen Premium Audio System with 17 speakers, Dolby Atmos, and Beosonic sound tuning delivers an immersive listening experience.
Also new is the Digital Centre Mirror (DCM), offering a crystal-clear rear view via a live rear camera feed – perfect for low-visibility conditions. The Intelligent Front Lighting System (IFLS) adapts to oncoming traffic using real-time data for optimal illumination.
Genesis has also expanded its Over-the-Air (OTA) update capabilities. Thanks to an upgraded controller, the number of OTA-compatible features has more than doubled, from 18 to 45 features, ensuring the GV60 stays at the cutting edge well into the future.
Availability in the UK
The upgraded Genesis GV60 will be available to order in the UK from 1 July, with customers able to explore and purchase the vehicle through Genesis’ retail destinations nationwide.
