The Carlisle GM Nationals is happening this Friday and Saturday at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds and it’s a fantastic chance for fans of General Motors and their brands to come together for one of the biggest all-GM shows in the country. Over 1,000 GM vehicles from classic cars, trucks, muscle cars, and modern vehicles will be on display in the National Parts Depot Showfield. Come check out the special displays, meet the special guests, and enjoy all that the Carlisle GM Nationals has to offer!
Online registration for the GM Nationals has closed, but you can still register In-Person when you arrive by stopping by the Showfield & Vendor Services Building outside of Gate 3.
Corvettes for Chip
For Corvette enthusiasts, the Carlisle GM Nationals offers a special gathering called “Corvettes for Chip,” a unique show-within-a-show that was named after Carlisle Events co-founder Chip Miller. Now a permanent fixture at the GM Nationals, Corvettes for Chip helps to raise funds and awareness for Amyloidosis, the little-known disease that took the life of Chip back in 2003. Those who sign up for the Corvettes for Chip show will have access to a special parking area just for Corvettes, and it includes two days of judging and full access to the GM Nationals show. If you have already registered for Corvettes at Carlisle, you can get a $25 Showfield registration for Corvettes for Chip at the GM Nationals by calling 717-243-7855.
One of the new events scheduled this year for Corvettes for Chip registrants is a Corvette-only scenic cruise on Friday. This exclusive adventure takes show participants out on the open road for a relaxing cruise through the local backroads of Cumberland County. Enjoy the sights and winding roads in the company of other Corvette enthusiasts for this 1-hour drive that finishes with a private tour of the Miller’s Garage and an ice cream social. A group photo will be taken at the end of the day to commemorate this unique experience!
Registrants of Corvettes for Chip can also register for a tour of the Miller Family Garage on Saturday Morning at 10:00 AM. Registrants must sign up for this exclusive opportunity at the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation (CMAF) tent, and its open to only those attending Corvettes at Chip at the GM Nationals.
If you haven’t signed up, you can register for the Corvettes at Chip Showfield at the GM Nationals shows. When you arrive, come to Gate 3 and stop in first to the Showfield & Vendor Services Building.
Carlisle GM Nationals
The 2025 GM Nationals has many opportunities to celebrate the iconic vehicles from Chevrolet, Cadillac, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick, GMC, and other brands under the GM banner. This year’s headliner is the 70th anniversary of the Chevrolet Tri-Fives built from 1955-1957. Over 55 Tri-Fives including Bel Airs, Nomads, One-Fifty’s, and Two-Tens are expected to be part of one of the largest gatherings of classic Chevy’s on the East Coast. Other displays include the 40th anniversary of the IROC-Z and the 55th anniversary of the Monte Carlo.
One of the most popular destinations at the GM Nationals is the Solid Lifter Showroom in Building Y. The hard-working team from Super Car Workshop presides over this collection of ultra-rare vehicles throughout the weekend, meaning you can speak directly to the specialists responsible for many of these awesome restorations. Yenkos, COPOs and so much more compose what has become one of the most beloved displays here at Carlisle.
We’re also excited about the “RADlisle: An 80s/90s GM Celebration” that celebrates the time period’s cars and culture and everything in between with music from a DJ starting at 6:00 PM Friday night. When the sun goes down, stick around and watch “The Days of Thunder” movie! Come out in your finest 80s/90s apparel and enjoy this RAD throwback celebration!
The GM Nationals also offers GM enthusiasts the opportunity to buy or sell GM vehicles in the GM Nationals Car Corral. This is a great opportunity to get your vehicle in front of an enthusiastic audience of car fans, and you can always find a wide variety of GM/Chevrolet cars and trucks available for sale. Carlisle Events offers a Notary service at the show and there is even a bank onsite for handling payment transfers. All vehicles in the car corral must be for sale, in running condition and cannot be displayed on trailers. Spaces are approximately 10′ frontage x 20′ depth per outside space for the entire event.
The GM Nationals Automotive Flea Market is also a great place to sell the parts, accessories, automotive memorabilia and literature that have been collecting dust in your garage. Put your parts in front of thousands of GM and Chevrolet enthusiasts and buyers.
In-Person Registration will be available on the day of the show for any of the events and activities at the Carlisle GM Nationals. Visit the Showfield & Vendor Services Building at Gate 3.
Gates open at 7 AM daily, with National Parts Depot Showfield registration available in person starting Thursday, June 19. In addition, discounted spectator admission tickets are available online, with student and military discounts available in person (with valid ID). On-grounds parking is also available for just $10.
