In the fair spring of the year 2025, by the silvered waters of Lake Como, beneath the ancient trees of Villa d’Este, the House of BMW did unveil a marvel—the Concept Speedtop, a chariot of rare lineage and noble bearing.
Forged not for the common road, but for those of discerning heart and deep coffers, the Speedtop stands as a reimagining of the grand Touring steeds of old. It blends the swift grace of the shooting brake with a profile bold and unyielding, as if carved by wind and time itself. “
Even in stillness, a true BMW must speak of motion,” spake Adrian van Hooydonk, keeper of the design flame. And so this creation, with its prow shaped like a shark from the ancient seas, and a spine of light running from brow to tail, stands as an exclamation carved in metal.
Clad in colours that dance from Floating Sunstone Maroon to Sundown Silver, with wheels like the sun’s own medallions, it shines with a light not of this world. Within, it is a realm of craftsmanship—leathers stitched in the manner of brogues worn by lords of old, and hues that echo the dusk: Moonstone White and Sundown Maroon. The lighted roofline, like the beam of Eärendil’s star, glows softly in the twilight cabin.
And lo, behind the seats, lay satchels of finest hide, wrought by the famed house of Schedoni, leather-crafters of renown in the southern lands. These bags, tailored to match the car’s very soul, await only the whisper of a weekend journey.
Yet this chariot is no mere sculpture—it breathes fire. Beneath its fair skin roars the mightiest V8Ferrari Reveal V8 Turbo GTC4Lusso T in the realm of BMW, promising a song of thunder upon the roads.
So treasured is this steed that but 70 shall ever ride forth from the halls of Dingolfing, each one destined for a chosen few—collectors, dreamers, and those who still believe that artistry and speed may yet walk hand in hand.
