They’re engineered like military equipment; overbuilt, under-stressed, and nearly impossible to kill. Recent generations even come with lots of luxury equipment too.
A clean 100- or 200-Series model with 200k on the clock is basically still in its prime, provided someone changed the fluids on time. It’s not uncommon to see these trading hands for big money with 300k or more miles on them. Another rock-solid choice comes from the related brand Lexus in the form of the LS400 and LS430.
These super-robust sedans basically helped put Lexus on the map. The 430 comes with a 4.3-liter V8 known for being powerful, quiet, and reliable. The automatic gearbox is smooth and usually problem-free, too. These, like the Land Cruiser, are known for seriously high mileage when well cared for.

The 2.4-liter i-VTEC engine is a model of efficiency and longevity. These family sedans and coupes are still all over the place, serving as daily drivers, many comfortably above our 200k threshold. Nothing says American reliability (or at the very least, cheap and easy to keep running) like the humble Ford Crown Victoria.
