However….the active bending mechanism had to be removed in order to fit these upgraded projectors. My S60 is a factory ABL car and, now that LED projectors are small enough to fit in the same foot print as the stock ABL projector, I decided it was time to remake a new version of this that would allow me to regain active bending. These would make more sense to use in a non-ABL car at this point.
These also need some love and aren’t perfect. One lens was already cracked and partially removed for study purposes when I was building my new/current set. One of them needs a new bulb and/or ballast for the projector. No high beam bulbs currently installed. I way overapplied the sealant as this was the first set of P2 lights I ever had apart…..it isn’t pretty but they didn’t leak. Currently they are running the older style ballasts that I rewired to install remotely in the engine bay rather than under the headlight. I got caught in a flash flood about a year after putting these together and had to drive through so much water that it flooded and killed BOTH ballasts in the stock location mounted to the bottom of the headlight. These being on my daily, I needed to fix that ASAP so I tapped into the harness and installed a pair of the older style ballasts since I had them on hand. It worked great for the following 4 years using these lights and got the ballasts into a drier location which I decided was actually a plus, so I never revisited it. They’re wire tapped in so all you’d need to do is remove the taps and get new ballasts if you want to return to the stock ballast and location.
I have no idea what these are worth. I seem to recall being into these for about $800 between importing the ECE ABL and buying all the projector equipment.
Asking $400 but open to offers. I am never going to do anything with these myself at this point so I’d love to get them out of my attic and move them on to a new owner who will enjoy having an awesome headlight upgrade for a fraction of the effort.

The current state of affairs:
The projectors required slightly clearancing the housing to get everything to fit. I sealed it back up with electrical tape and was able to install a cap as the ring the cap attaches to did not need to be removed, just some of the material behind it.
