It’s a question that’s as old as time…do you really need the Z07 performance package on your Z06? If you are planning on tracking your car then the answer is most definitely yes. But if there are no track days in your future, should you just add the aero and be done with it?

With its track package in place, the Corvette Z06 with Z07 is one of the most capable sports cars available as the option adds a much stiffer FE7 suspension, carbon ceramic brakes, and Michelin’s Cup 2R tires to the mix. However, if you are mostly street driving your Z06, that extra stiff suspension and Cup 2R tires may eventually feel like a little too much for daily driving.
