Singer brings back the wide-body 911 Carrera with a 420HP flat-six, modern tech, and timeless design.

Forever preserving the timeless look and analog experience of classic Porsches, Singer is back at it again, and this time they’ve turned their attention to the iconic wide-body 911 Carrera of the 1980s. Known for breathing new life into classic 911s, Singer’s latest creation combines vintage styling with some serious modern engineering. Based on the highly-desirable Porsche 964, this reimagined Carrera Coupe is built to deliver an umatched driving experience on both the street and the track. With just 100 commissions planned, this is a collector’s dream to own a classic Porsche 911 that’s been completely reworked from the inside out.

At the heart of it all is a naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine that’s been developed with help from Cosworth, making 420 horsepower and revving past 8000 rpm. It’s the first of its kind from Singer to feature variable valve timing and a mix of air-cooled and water-cooled tech, inspired by the lessons learned from the brand’s DLS and Turbo programs. Drivers also get the joy of a six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive.

Singer didn’t just bolt on a widebody kit and call it a day. They teamed up with Red Bull Advanced Technologies to strengthen the original 964 chassis, improving stiffness and handling without sacrificing that vintage driving feel. Aerodynamic upgrades include a deep front spoiler, rear fender intakes, and a choice between fixed or active rear wings. You’ll even find pop-up auxiliary lights tucked into the hood.

Inside, things get even more personal. Owners can tailor every inch of the cabin, from the stitching on the leather to the color of the gauges. The interior layout stays true to its Porsche roots, but with Singer’s attention to detail, everything feels elevated. The raised gear shifter and optional lightweight seats hint at the car’s performance focus, while modern tech like drive modes and electronic damping give drivers control without getting in the way. At the end of the day, this is a classic Porsche 911 that’s been reimagined with real heart.
