Get ready to welcome four new members into the National Corvette Museum’s Corvette Hall of Fame later this year.
The new inductees, announced last Thursday during the ongoing Corvette Bash, will be formally inducted during the upcoming 31st Anniversary Celebration at the NCM on Friday, August 29.
Chosen from three categories, the Class of 2025 includes SCCA Corvette racer Kim Baker in Racing; General Motors VP of Design Chuck Jordan in GM/Chevrolet, and Corvette Racing ambassadors Charley and Jim Robertson in Enthusiast.
“Each inductee in this year’s Hall of Fame class represents a distinct and powerful thread in the fabric of Corvette history,” said Bryce Burklow, President and CEO of the National Corvette Museum. “From track dominance to design innovation and fan-driven passion, the 2025 class exemplifies what it means to contribute to the Corvette legacy. These individuals have not only elevated the brand, they have helped define what Corvette means to generations of enthusiasts around the world.”

In the 1980s, Baker dominated the SCCA Endurance Championship with his Baker Racing team, winning the title from 1985 through 1987. Credited with his success are the skills he had gained as a Corvette test driver and his strategic partnership with Goodyear.
Because of the totally dominating performance of Corvette teams like Baker Racing, the SCCA banned Corvettes from competition beginning in 1988, but Baker still continued to play a critical role in the history of the Corvette, helping with pre-production testing of the new C4 ZR-1 in 1989 and serving as a member of Tommy Morrison’s world-record-setting ZR-1 team.
Chuck Jordan – General Motors

Check Jordan, of course, is no stranger to Corvette enthusiasts as he has played a role in several generations of the sports car, beginning with the design of the 1958 Corvette. As Vice President of Design, he also led the creation of concept cars that helped the Corvette evolve over the years, including the Corvette Indy, CERV III, and Stingray III.
His influence was also felt on the designs of the C2, C3, and C4 production Corvettes, and he advocated for keeping the Corvette alive during the development of the C5. Indeed, his influence will no doubt be felt for many more decades as, even after retirement from GM, he continued to inspire future designers by teaching automotive design to high schoolers in Southern California.
Jim & Charley Robertson – Enthusiasts

The Robertsons, meanwhile, have shown their passion for Corvettes for years, especially through their fan-oriented efforts in the racing world. They remain on a first-name basis with drivers, team members, GM executives, and many fans through their volunteer work at races, where they often help out in the paddock or corrals, keep autograph lines moving, or even gather extra posters for charity auctions.
They’re also credited with helping organize special events and strengthening the bond between Corvette Racing and its fans. Charley’s e-mail list keeps fans in the know about the latest team news, and through her social media efforts, she’s become a reliable source of racing updates and fan engagement.
While their work may look like those of a professional PR team, their voluntary efforts are solely driven by their deep love for the team and the Corvette community. As active members of their local Circle City Corvette Club in Dothan, Alabama, they’ve also helped raise funds for charities and the NCM through their annual auction of Corvette Racing memorabilia donated by the team.
On behalf of CorvetteBlogger, we say thank you to these dedicated enthusiasts for their many decades of service to the Corvette world.
NCM Corvette Hall of Fame Receives Update
During the NCM Bash, we learned that the area of the Museum that was adjacent to the NCM Skydome and which previously housed the “Corvette Cave-In Exhibit” has been remodeled and now serves as a dedicated area for the Corvette Hall of Fame. Zora’s 1974 Corvette will be moved to this location once its preservation/restoration activities have been completed. The SkyDome will still be displaying the HoF banners, but NCM planners wanted a dedicated area where the inductees could be organized and presented to visitors in a better viewing environment.
