In Hollywood, the good guys often take the win, but let’s be honest, sometimes the villains are way more interesting. Barricade, one of the most memorable Decepticons from the Transformers franchise, is a prime example. The latest version of this “bad cop” character is based on a 2016 Ford Mustang GT, and a fully functional, low-mileage model is currently up for sale.
This particular Mustang starred in Transformers: The Last Knight, the 2017 film directed by Michael Bay. While the movie was the lowest-rated in the franchise and considered a commercial disappointment (despite raking in $605.4 million worldwide), it’s hard to deny the appeal of this heavily modified pre-facelifted sixth-gen Mustang now available from Curated.

To better battle the Autobots, Barricade’s Mustang got a serious makeover. The car comes outfitted with a unique body kit, a front push bar, strobe lights, and extra LEDs. The cuts on the bumpers, cables, and custom headlights give the car the look of something ready to transform at any moment. And that’s just the beginning. Other visual tweaks include a vented hood, wide fender extensions, and a large rear wing.
Thanks to the special treatment, Barricade looks even more aggressive than its predecessor, which was based on a 2007 Mustang Saleen S281. The police livery features a Deep Impact Blue finish with white graphics, including “Keep Calm and Hail Megatron” lettering on the rear fenders and the signature “To Punish and Enslave” badging.
Don’t worry, Barricade still has plenty of muscle to back up its intimidating looks. Under the hood, you’ll find the standard 5.0-liter V8 engine, cranking out 435 hp (324 kW) and paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. With only 800 miles (1,287 km) on the clock, it’s clear that this Mustang hasn’t seen much action outside the movie set.
On top of the car itself, the sale includes a stash of Transformers memorabilia and official documents, some of which are signed by none other than Michael Bay himself.
While Curated doesn’t have an official price estimate, one of the documents lists a purchase price of $131,970. For some context, back in 2021, this Barricade was offered as part of a $2 million four-car bundle from Michael Bay’s personal collection.
If you’ve got a small fortune burning a hole in your pocket. Or, you know, if you’re just really into pretending you’re an evil robot cop, you can check out the listing over here.
