Porsche has unveiled the awesome 911 Spirit 70, which is the third 911 from a series of production Heritage Design models that are inspired by Porsche’s past. The previous two are the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition and the 911 Sport Classic models. The 911 Spirit 70 pays tribute to the 1970s and early 1980s.

The 911 Spirit 70 is based on the 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet with rear-wheel drive. This means that it gets the same hybrid powertrain as the 911 GTS models, which features the 3.6-liter flat-six engine and an electric motor to generate a combined 532 horsepower and 449 pound-feet of torque.
On the outside there are decorative stripes that run parallel with the hood with elongated 911 letters, like the decals used in the 1970s. The stripes also are on the cabriolet top. On the side there are unique side graphics with Porsche lettering and a Lollipop in satin black with an individual start number – this time “70”.
On the hood there’s a special version of the a Porsche crest nearly identical to the version used in 1963. Gold plated “Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur” badges have been added on the front fenders and at the rear, a Porsche Heritage badge sits on the engine grille. A special Olive Neo green has been created just for the 911 Spirit 70. It rides on Sport Classic wheels, 20-inch in the front and 21-inch in the rear.

Inside the seats are super retro with a cool Olive Neo Pasha pattern. The seats are upholstered in a combination of textile and flock yarn. The door panel inserts and inside of the glove box are also covered in the Pasha pattern.
The 12.65-inch digital instrument cluster is also inspired by the past with its white pointers and scale lines in analog format. Green digits are reminiscent of vintage Porsche sports cars. White pointers and green digits are also used for the Sport Chrono stopwatch.
Porsche only plans to build 1,500 units of the 911 Spirit 70 and it’s slated to arrive in late summer 2025. The pricing starts at $242,250, clearly before any potential tariffs are applied.
