2025 Jetour Dashing C-SUV – Malaysian launch in April

First shown in May last year, the Jetour Dashing has now been revealed to be making its official Malaysian launch in the month of April, as posted to the official Jetour Facebook page.

So far, little else that has been officially confirmed about the model, though we know that the Dashing is a five-seater SUV measuring 4,590 mm long, 1,900 mm wide, 1,685 mm tall with a 2,720 mm wheelbase, thus sized between the Honda CR-V that is 4,691 mm long, and the Toyota Corolla Cross that is 4,460 mm long.

The Dashing revealed earlier to arrive in two variants – Prime, and Signature – with both powered by a 1.5 litre turbocharged inline-four petrol engine rated to produce 156 PS at 5,500 rpm and 230 Nm of torque from 1,750 rpm to 4,000 rpm. Drive goes to the front wheels through a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Standard kit starting with the Prime includes LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED taillights, a powered tailgate, keyless entry and start, remote engine start, leather seat upholstery, a six-way powered driver’s seat, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a 50W wireless charging pad, four speakers and automatic air-conditioning with rear vents, and CN95 filter.

In terms of driver assistance and safety features, the Dashing gets passive cruise control, a reverse camera, ABS, EBD, brake assist, ESC, traction control, six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX child seat anchors, overspeed warning and four reverse sensors.

Added to these on the Signature variant are a panoramic sunroof, a four-way powered front passenger seat, ambient lighting, lane change assist, blind spot monitoring, lane change warning, rear cross traffic alert and a 360-degree around view monitor.

As for an exact launch date in Malaysia, that remains to be announced, though for now, Jetour has announced through its social media post that the Dashing is set for its local market arrival next month.
