Hyundai Staria Facelift Spotted Near for the First Time

Hyundai Staria Facelift Spotted Near for the First Time

Posted on March 17, 2025 By rehan.rafique No Comments on Hyundai Staria Facelift Spotted Near for the First Time

The Hyundai Staria facelift was recently spied testing near Hyundai’s R&D Center in Namyang for the first time. Our colleagues at Healer TV managed to capture the first images of the refreshed Staria undergoing road tests, showcasing significant changes to its front-end styling.

Revamped Front Fascia with Bold Enhancements

The biggest updates on the Staria facelift are expected to be at the front, aligning the MPV with Hyundai’s evolving design language. Spy shots indicate that Hyundai has reworked the grille, which now appears to feature a fresh pattern that adds a more dynamic character. Additionally, a redesigned front bumper contributes to a more sculpted and aggressive stance.

Another notable change is the headlight graphics. While the signature horizontal LED light bar remains, the internal structure of the headlights seems to have been updated for a more modern and striking look. This suggests that Hyundai is refining the Staria’s distinctive aesthetic while incorporating the latest lighting technology.

Potential Interior and Powertrain Updates

While the exterior facelift is the main highlight, Hyundai could also introduce minor tweaks to the interior. We might see updated materials, new tech features, and an improved infotainment system to keep the Staria competitive in the premium MPV segment.

Under the hood, the current Staria lineup offers a variety of powertrains, including a 2.2-liter diesel engine, a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline option and a Hybrid variant. While no major mechanical changes are confirmed yet, Hyundai could fine-tune the engines for better efficiency and performance. Additionally, there is speculation that Hyundai may introduce a hybrid variant to align with the brand’s electrification strategy.

Expected Launch and Market Availability

The Hyundai Staria facelift is expected to make its global debut in late 2025 or early 2026. Given Hyundai’s strategy, the updated model will likely roll out first in South Korea before reaching international markets, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
