This is the best Volvo I have ever owned, but it’s time it goes to someone who will actually use it. I’m only in the office one day a week now and she deserves someone who will actually drive her. Mileage was 65,317 at time of purchase and I have added just over 12,000 in the past three years.
I purchased this car on a whim in February 2022 after noticing a funky badge on the grille of a S60 while browsing. Since then she has been absolutely pampered.
There are vanishingly few of these cars with the KPAX package since it was a brief flirtation before actual Polestar Edition cars became a standard offering. The sound of the T6 engine with the Snabb Intake and Borla exhaust is simply spectacular.
This is a ‘15 Platinum R-Design with the Climate, BLIS, and Platinum Packages. It is missing the Technology package which became standard with Platinum in ‘15.5.

Extras:

- Lots of knick knacks (interior trim, stickers etc.)
Issues:
- VIDA codes from LED light swap due to voltage difference. This does not show up in the dashboard.
- A tiny puncture on the front passenger seat from a lovely tech at Volvo Santa Monica who clearly sat on it with something sharp in his back pocket. I patched this with leather glue and it has never been an issue since.
- Various tiny chips and scratches on the front end, mostly lower spoiler from rocks and road debris.
- Minor curb rash on BBS wheels. I had these inspected after purchasing while trying to figure out the rattle that ended up being spacers and the wheel shop did not recommend refinishing them at this time.
It’s pouring right now here in SoCal so I’ll be adding a bunch of pictures over the next couple days as we actually get some sun. For now here are some basic shots from the great @Magnus Cars and a Google Photos album of more from over the years.
