As the President & CEO, Ashish is responsible for overall strategy, execution, operations, profitability and growth of the company. He is also responsible for making sure that Synoptic’s growth is aligned with Company’s Public Benefit Corporation mission and overall expanding access of environmental data to all the users for the greater good of humanity. Ashish firmly believes in Diversity, Inclusion, building great teams and leading with empathy.
Ashish started his career at and served on the Board of Sutron Corporation a publicly traded company on Nasdaq, where he was instrumental in growing the company at which point it was acquired by OTT Hydromet, part of the Danaher Corporation. Ashish during his career has been involved in M&A activities of over $100M+ and acquisition of many companies. He has extensive global experience and has worked in over 90+ countries.
Currently Mr. Raval also serves on the HMEI council as a Vice-Chair, He has also been serving on the advisory board to the US Govt as part of the Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee (ETTAC) since 2018. He has also served as a Sr. Consultant for Hydro-Meteorological Systems for the World Bank. He is also member of various WMO Expert committees and is a member of the ISA/IEEE community of greater Washington DC chapters
Mr. Raval has an MBA from Georgetown University in Washington DC and MS in Engineering from University of New Orleans and BS in Instrumentation and Controls from University of Pune, India. He works out of his home office in Washington DC.
