Nearly-New 2018 Ford GT Hits the Market

Now live on SBX Cars is a 2018 Ford GT finished in Frozen White with Sonic Blue Pearl Metallic stripes and a black leather interior. This is one a one-owner, Canadian-market Ford GT and only shows 10 kilometers (~6 miles), making it a virtually-new example.

It features Sonic Blue Pearl Metallic stripes, along with other high-end upgrades. The car is equipped with six-point harness anchors, an exterior matte carbon-fiber package, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, red brake calipers, 20-inch Satin Silver alloy wheels, and an Akrapovič titanium exhaust.

The interior has been upgraded with the Dark Energy package which includes black leather Sparco seats with carbon-fiber shells, exposed carbon-fiber door panels, adjustable pedals, and steering column. Additional features include automatic climate control, a touchscreen infotainment system, paddle shifters, and a configurable digital instrument panel.

The second-generation Ford GT made a dramatic debut at the 2015 North American International Auto Show, showcasing Ford’s ability to produce a world-class, mid-engine supercar. Designed to prove itself on the racetrack, particularly at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the GT features a 647-horsepower, twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 216 mph.

Engineers focused on lightweight design and aerodynamics, creating bodywork that optimizes airflow for cooling and downforce. Braking is handled by six-piston carbon-ceramic brakes up front and four-piston calipers in the rear. The GT’s fixed seats and adjustable pedal box and steering wheel cater to the driver. Its carbon-fiber structure, adjustable suspension, and advanced aerodynamic features, including an airbrake and front winglets, make the GT a track-ready machine.

Visually, the GT’s design was revolutionary, emphasizing lightweight construction and aerodynamics, including flying buttresses that enhance airflow and downforce. Due to immense demand, Ford introduced a strict application process, handpicking buyers and requiring long-term ownership. Only 1,350 units were produced through 2022, making it rarer and more exclusive than the 2005-2006 GT.
