- The refreshed 2026 Genesis GV70 arrives in dealerships in the coming weeks
- A $2,385 price hike means the 2026 Genesis GV70 costs $49,435
- Every Genesis GV70 comes standard with all-wheel drive
The updated 2026 Genesis GV70 luxury SUV sees a $2,385 price hike to go with its revised styling and interior layout.
Genesis on Wednesday confirmed a $49,435 base price (including a $1,450 destination charge), compared to $47,050 for the 2025 model. Even with that price increase, $100 of which is due to inflation of the destination charge, the GV70 is still $1,690 less than a base BMW X3, though.
The best-selling Genesis model in North America, the GV70 was introduced for the 2022 model year, earning our Best Luxury Car To Buy award, and receives a refresh for 2026. Styling tweaks include a front fascia that now incorporates a skid-plate-like trim element, headlights with micro lens array tech, and new 19-inch and 21-inch wheel designs. Genesis claims the grille and exhaust tips are new as well, but the differences are small.
Inside, a new 27-OLED display combines the instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen into one long horizontal housing. Genesis also claims improved voice recognition and over-the-air (OTA) update capability. Adjustable ambient lighting is standard, with a digital key system and Bang & Olufsen audio system also available.
Powertrains are unchanged. The base model has a 2.5-liter turbo-4 engine producing 300 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque, connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.
This powertrain is also used in the 2.5T Select AWD grade for $52,335, which adds features like a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, and a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a front memory seating system, to the standard equipment from the base model.
The 2.5T Advanced AWD grade also includes the Bang & Olufsen audio system, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, surround-view and blind-spot camera systems, parking sensors, and a heated steering wheel for $56,885. The 2.5T Sport Prestige AWD grade costs $60,245 and adds sporty styling elements on top of that equipment.
Genesis also continues to offer a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 making 375 hp and 391 lb-ft, with the same 8-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive system as the turbo-4. It’s available on the 3.5T Sport Advanced AWD grade starting at $64,865, while a $71,545 3.5T Sport Prestige AWD adds a rear limited-slip differential 21-inch wheels, a head-up display, remote park assist, nappa leather upholstery, and other features.
The 2026 Genesis GV70 is scheduled to reach dealerships in the coming weeks. Genesis also sells an all-electric Electrified GV70 version, but hadn’t detailed its 2026 model year updates at press time.
