MAHWAH, NJ (Aug. 6, 2024) – Four Volvo car models have been named the Best vehicle and Top Pick in the annual 2024 Newsweek Autos Awards. Across all automakers, Volvo Cars had the most “Best” winners in the awards with XC60 for the Suburbanites and Single, Powerful Women categories and EX30 for the Urbanites category.

The awards highlight the industry’s top 10 vehicles in each category with “Best” signifying the winner and “Top Picks” representing the nine runner ups. Newsweek ranked vehicles in 13 lifestyle-focused categories, which were chosen to align with new car buyer behavior. Each category has different criteria measured from the perspective of a person in the lifestyle category while considering overall drive and ride experience. Only vehicles that the Newsweek editorial staff has hand-on driving experience with are eligible for the 2024 Newsweek Autos Awards.
