“The Stress is Killing Me” is a comedy film that follows eight college friends who reunite for their 20th reunion at the University of New Mexico. Now in their forties, each has achieved professional success but feels disenchanted with their current careers. During their week-long stay together, they decide to pursue their dream jobs—ranging from artist to yoga teacher to sex therapist—leading to a series of humorous and heartfelt experiences. Through these adventures, they confront mid-life crises, rediscover the value of friendship, and gain a renewed appreciation for their lives.

The film features an ensemble cast including Grayson Berry, Carly Christopher, April Hartman, Theron LaFountain, Barry Landers, Lisa Lucas, Matthew Page, and Crystal Thomas.

Tom Carroll is the writer director of “The Stress is Killing Me,” which will be available to rent/own on all North American digital HD internet, cable, and satellite platforms, as well as on DVD, on March 7, 2025. He is also the director or “Big Bad Budget,” which aired on PBS stations nationwide, and the writer director of “Who Stole the Tasmanian Devils?” Tom is also the author of several novels, including “The Dogs Who Play Baseball,” “Young and Dumb”, and “Lawrence and the Ant Colony,” and the play “Churchill’s Finest Hour.” He lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
