- Hungary’s KAMM has revealed the 912c 60th Edition
- The restomodded Porsche 912 weighs less than 1,600 pounds
- Pricing starts at approximately $413,900
Hungarian restomodder KAMM has returned with a new version of its custom take on Porsche’s 912 sports car.
A few years ago, the company made waves with its 912c—a carbon-fiber-bodied 912 that tipped the scales at under 1,600 pounds. Now, KAMM is celebrating six decades of the 912 with the 912c 60th Edition, which was revealed on Wednesday.
The Porsche 912 debuted at the 1965 New York auto show as a more accessible alternative to the then-new 911, helping to fill the gap with the aging 356 below. Over its four-year production run, approximately 32,000 examples were built, making it much rarer than the 911.
The 912 featured a flat-4 engine borrowed from the 356, producing around 90 hp. While modest in output, this lightweight design made the 912 agile and enjoyable to drive. KAMM takes this philosophy further by significantly reducing the car’s weight.

The 912c 60th Edition is available in two distinctive liveries, inspired by iconic racing 912s. The red variant pays homage to Polish driver Sobiesław Zasada, who secured overall victory in the 1967 European Rally Championship for Group 1 touring cars. Meanwhile, the yellow edition references multiple 912s that competed in Swedish rallies during the 1960s.
As with all KAMM 912c builds, the 60th Edition features carbon-fiber body panels crafted in-house. This upgrade alone reduces the car’s weight by over 662 pounds compared to a stock 912, while also adjusting the balance to a near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution. Buyers can opt for an upgraded version of the original flat-4 engine and tailor the gearbox ratios for either road or track driving. Inside, modern comforts include a Bluetooth audio system, a wireless phone charger, and air conditioning.
Pricing for the 912c 60th Edition starts at 395,000 euros (approximately $413,900). This price excludes the donor 912 but includes a bespoke design consultation with KAMM founder Miki Kázmér, along with a matching racing helmet and other custom apparel and artwork.

Work on KAMM’s cars is completed at the company’s headquarters in Budapest.
