Orlando Bloom has been appointed as the new Brand Ambassador for Porsche Design’s Timepiece and Eyewear collections. Recognized for his prominent roles in various films and noted for his fashion sense, Bloom has a longstanding appreciation for Porsche as a brand. His enthusiasm for the design, innovation, and functionality inherent in Porsche Design aligns with the brand’s values. In the upcoming promotional campaign, Bloom will be featured wearing the Chronograph 1 timepiece, alongside a selection of sunglasses and prescription eyewear from the brand.
Bloom expressed his honor in representing Porsche Design, emphasizing a shared passion for design and a compatible mindset with the brand. He noted the brand’s ability to convey the design and elegance of iconic models like the Porsche 911 into lifestyle products, which he finds compelling.

The Chronograph 1 – All Black Numbered Edition is a focal point of the Timepiece campaign. This model is inspired by the original Chronograph I designed in 1972 by F. A. Porsche, which was the first all-black chronograph and drew design elements from the Porsche 911’s dashboard. The 2022 re-engineered version continues the legacy of craftsmanship associated with Porsche Design, being handmade in Switzerland.
In the Eyewear campaign, the P’8478 model is highlighted, along with other styles from the 2025 collection. The P’8478, designed by F. A. Porsche in 1978, was the first sunglass model to feature an interchangeable lens system, allowing users to adapt to varying light conditions. Made from lightweight titanium and durable polycarbonate, it represents a blend of innovative design and performance.
