Posted on January 30, 2025 By rehan.rafique No Comments on AutoHunter Spotlight: 1996 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

Now on AutoHunter, the auction platform powered by ClassicCars.com, is this 1996 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. Running at no reserve, it is powered by an LT1 5.7-liter V8, which is paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Torch Red and equipped with a black manual soft top over a Black leather interior, this garage-kept C4 Corvette drop-top comes from the private seller with an owner’s manual, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title.

The angular Torch Red exterior features fog lamps, pop-up headlights, power mirrors with body-color caps, a manual black soft top with a heated glass rear window, and a black and body-color tonneau cover.

A set of 17″ x 8.5″ front and 17″ x 9.5″ rear wheels wrapped in 255/45 and 285/40 Kumho Ecsta SPT radial tires, respectively, connect this Vette to the road.

The cockpit is furnished with a pair of power-adjustable Black leather bucket seats. Equipment includes power windows and locks, cruise control, a Tilt-Wheel adjustable steering column, power steering, an aftermarket steering wheel wrap, traction control, automatic climate control, and a Delco/Bose AM/FM/CD/cassette radio.

Vehicle information is displayed on a digital speedometer, 6,000-rpm tachometer, digital fuel gauge, and readouts for the oil pressure, oil temperature, temperature, and voltage. The odometer shows 76,950 miles. The latest mileage reading on the CARFAX report is 79,500 miles and was recorded in May 2022.

Under the front-hinged hood is an LT1 5.7-liter V8 that was factory-rated at 300 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 335 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. That fuel-injected engine is paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual exhaust system.

Underpinnings consist of a four-wheel independent suspension, four-wheel power disc brakes with ABS, and a limited-slip differential.

The no-reserve auction for this 1996 Chevrolet Corvette convertible ends on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. (MST).
