Genesis GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle (MIV) Concept Unveiled at World Economic Forum 2025

The Genesis GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle (MIV) Concept took center stage this week at the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2025, showcasing the brand’s commitment to technological innovation and groundbreaking design.

The concept has drawn significant attention at the AMERON Davos Swiss Mountain Resort, near the WEF venue, where it has been on display since January 20. This marks Genesis’ third consecutive year unveiling a concept vehicle at Davos, following the Genesis X Concept in 2023 and the Genesis X Speedium Concept in 2024.

Purpose-Built for Extreme Conditions

The GV60 Mountain Invervention Vehicle Concept is designed specifically for rescue support in rugged terrains and harsh weather conditions, with a clear focus on safety and functionality. Inspired by small unit support vehicles (SUSVs), the electric vehicle (EV) emphasizes off-road performance while ensuring minimal environmental impact. Its silent operation helps reduce noise pollution, making it a sustainable choice for emergency operations.

A standout feature is the vehicle-to-load (V2L) system, enabling the GV60 MIV Concept to power auxiliary devices essential for rescue missions. The design and functionality reflect Genesis’ meticulous attention to detail, prioritizing quality and durability across all components.

  • Emergency Communication and Warning Systems: These features are essential for coordinating rescue efforts in remote areas.

“Genesis prides itself on creating safe, well-designed luxury vehicles that are audacious, progressive, and distinctly Korean,” said Luc Donckerwolke, Genesis Chief Creative Officer. “The GV60 MIV Concept expands this vision of comfort and care, demonstrating our commitment to innovation.”
