Performance specs, pricing, and availability info has been released for the new 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V.
Being a V-Series product, the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V places a huge emphasis on performance. To that end, the new Lyriq-V hits the streets with a dual-motor AWD system making 615 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain is capable of rocketing the Lyriq-V from 0-60 in just 3.3 seconds in Velocity Max Mode. This makes it faster than the CT5-V Blackwing by 0.1 seconds. In fact, this new Lyriq-V is the fastest-production Cadillac vehicle ever made, quite the way for the V subbrand to make its electric debut.
The aforementioned Velocity Max Mode is unique to the V and allows it to access the most power possible in short bursts. Drivers will be able to easily engage Velocity Max mode via a steering wheel-mounted button. A new Competition Mode “enables a suite of traction management features specifically engineered to increase vehicle agility.” Brembo front brake calipers also come standard and are designed to provide “fade-resistant performance during spirited driving.” Buyers will be able to add red brake calipers featuring the V logo should they so choose as well.
A new suspension setup has been specially designed for the Lyriq-V. This system comes with a continuous damping control system that uses adaptive valves to offer an ideal balance between performance and comfort.
Power for all that extra performance has to come from somewhere, and the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V gets the same 102 kWh battery pack as other Lyriq models. The Lyriq-V is rated at 285 miles of range, down from the 307-mile EPA rating of the standard AWD Lyriq due to the increased power needs of the high performance powertrain.
From a design standpoint, the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V arrives with V-specific details like V badges on the rear doors and rear tailgate, unique front and rear bumpers, unique side rocker panels, and body-colored lower trim. Optional carbon fiber accents are available should customers want an even sportier look. Distinctive 22″ dark-finished alloy wheels come standard, as does a black-painted roof, and buyers will also be able to select a new matte color option dubbed “Magnus Metal Frost.”
Inside, the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V gets a few special touches, including a unique steering wheel featuring hand grips and the Cadillac V logo, unique seat detailing also featuring the V logo, V Series illuminated sill plates, and custom software details in the vehicle’s operating system. A new dual-plane augmented reality head-up display also makes its way into this latest addition to the Lyriq family, as do power-adjustable side bolsters for the front seats. Like other Lyriqs, the interior also features a 33″ curved infotainment screen, a 23-speaker AKG premium audio system, and Super Cruise.
The 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V will start at $79,990 (including destination fee), go into production shortly, and be built alongside the other Lyriq models at GM’s Spring Hill, TN.
