2008 Volvo C30 V2 Manual ~21,500 miles | SwedeSpeed

2008 Volvo C30 V2 Manual ~21,500 miles | SwedeSpeed

Posted on January 12, 2025 By rehan.rafique No Comments on 2008 Volvo C30 V2 Manual ~21,500 miles | SwedeSpeed

Here is my 2008 Volvo C30 with the 6 Speed Manual transmission and V2 Package. The car has 21,500 miles on the odometer and it runs and drives flawlessly. The V2 package is basically R-Design without the name so it has the factory sport body kit.

-It has no sunroof so no issues with water or drainage.
-It has manual leather heated Seats.
-6 Speed Manual Transmission
-Backup Sensors
-Dynaudio Sound System with Aux

I have put about 15,000 miles under the ownership of this car and it is all factory except for:
-eibach lowering springs (will include original springs)
-IPD metal skid plate,
-leather shift knob,
-320mm Volvo S40 AWD front brake calipers and rotors
-metal braided brake lines
– Strut bar was taken off from a Junk yard Volvo C30 since mine didn’t come with it. That is the reason why it is a little rusty.

Some other things to note with the car:
-The timing belt was replaced in the car about 2 years ago when the car had 6,111 miles along with water pump, serpentine belts, and tensioner.
-Tires were replaced recently with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 All Season tires.
– Oil change every 5,000 miles with Fuchs Full Synthetic

The car is in excellent driving condition, no vibrations, no issues with alignment or any weird noises. No leaks. Transmission is original to the chassis so it all works well. Runs as a C30 Should.

The car is a rebuilt title, and the story was that it was involved in a front end collision in 2009 at 6,111 miles with an animal which resulted in the front bumper and other parts being damaged. My guess is that also destroyed the Radiator and the engine was overheated and toast. I have the original inspection paperwork when the incident occurred and the estimate from the body shop that gave the quote.

My uncle who is now a retired Volvo Mechanic purchased the vehicle from auction and purchased another Volvo C30 at the same time for a donor engine. I have the VIN for the donor C30 and the Carfax which showed last mileage at 1,000 miles so the engine has less miles than the body. The car was a forgotten project for about 15 years and it was stored in an indoor climate controlled garage until I wanted to purchase it and we started working on it. I took ownership of the vehicle in July of 2022 and have put 15,000 trouble free miles with the vehicle. Before the engine was put in, that is when the timing belt and all the other age related components were replaced before being put into the vehicle.

The car does have some cosmetics flaws
-paint chip on the rear bumper
-rear right molding scratches
-curb rash on some of the wheels
-front bumper has some paint chips

Everything else is clean and there is no dents and the underside of the car has no rust since it was garage kept its whole life.

I have just done emissions testing with the vehicle and it passed with no issue. I no longer drive the vehicle and keep it stored in a garage because I bought my dream Volvo (2016 V60 Polestar) and unfortunately I have to let this car go.

Rebuilt Illinois Title in Hand

Please email me directly with any questions and I hope to see this car go to another Volvo enthusiast. I tried to be as detailed as possible with this listing. This is an excellent car and in fantastic driving condition. I wouldn’t hesitate going cross country and back with no issues in this car.
Thank you
