2025 Toyota Tacoma Starts at ,085

The Toyota Tacoma is America’s best-selling midsize truck by a considerable margin. It wouldn’t be fair to say it has the market to itself. But it’s almost fair.

Even Ford and Chevrolet have contracted their midsize offerings to the point that the Ranger and Colorado are offered only in 4-door, short-bed configurations. But Toyota continues to offer the Tacoma in nearly any combination of cab and bed.

So when Toyota introduced an all-new, redesigned Tacoma for 2024, the truck automatically qualified as one of the most important new cars of the year, and won our Best Buy Award in its class. For 2025, Toyota has seen little reason to modify its still-new truck.

The 2025 Tacoma sees just a minor update and very little price change. The 2025 Tacoma will start at $33,085 (including a mandatory $1,495 destination fee). That’s exactly $90 more than the starting cost of the 2024 edition.

What does nine Alexander Hamiltons get you? A fourth available pre-wired aux switch and easy-access red tow hooks on TRD Pro and Trailhunter models. That’s the extent of the 2025 model year updates.

Longtime fans know Toyota always introduces a new, exclusive color for its TRD Pro models each year. 2025’s shade is called Mudbath.
