Our carbon fiber cronies at Nowicki Autosport showed off their latest creation earlier this month at the SEMA show. Their newest Concept8 picks up right where the last one left off and adds even more carbon fiber goodness plus a hot stroker LT2 out back behind the driver.

“This new Concept8 build is more than a high-performance machine; it’s a fusion of power and engineering excellence,” said Jeff Nowicki, Founder of Nowicki Autosport Design. “We’re excited to debut it at SEMA, equipped with the Matrix II LT2 Stroker Engine and all-new Concept8 components like the carbon fiber domed frunk and front license plate panel trim. Developed with ExxonMobil’s Proxxima polyolefin thermoset resin systems and McCLARIN RTM (Resin Transfer Molding), these elements make Concept8 a true masterpiece of modern engineering.”

The Matrix II 416 cubic inch LT2 is the heart of this Concept8 build. The stroker motor produces an astonishing 675hp and 535 ft-lbs. of torque. That’s 5hp more than the stout Z06 and 20hp more than the E-Ray.

The new Concept8 looks great too thanks to a fresh suite of attractive and functional carbon fiber bits throughout. The carbon fiber goodness consists of their Concept8 domed frunk, carbon fiber front license panel, and the Concept8 carbon fiber Aero Package. Each piece is constructed using the strong, yet lightweight Proxxima™ R3630 C32 system. The advanced polyolefin thermoset solution builds on RTM technology from McCLARIN to create attractive high-strength parts that are efficient to manufacture.

Now add that all up and you’ve got the best Concept8 yet and one of the best looking modded C8’s we’ve seen to date. The Red Mist Stingray drew crowds all week at SEMA and was shown on several different outlets. Below you’ll find a closer look at Nowicki’s newest Concept8 Corvette.
