(Warm) start issues | SwedeSpeed

Hello @volvogod
so I found some time now today to change the three sensors. All of them are from Denso (with Volvo branding), the crankshaft sensor was quite difficult to remove, because of all the cables, water pipes, air pipes etc.
It definitely has signs of wear, as you can see on the picture. Also the rubber seal is not there anymore (the new Bosch sensor has one).

Its OEM number (30713485) is different from the new one (31331765), however, the parts are identical. And latter is definitely the correct one as given by VIDA. In Skandix both numbers point the the same sensor anyway. The batch number (029600-1211) seems to indicate it is from December 2011; strange that the sensor was changed just 1,5 years after the first registration (03/2010).

The Denso (Volvo branding) camshaft sensors have the identical OEM number and have also been already replaced. One is from November 2016 and the other one from November 2014. They still looked very good, the rubber seal seems to have expanded by the oil, because they were quite difficult to pull out. The new Q+ Sensors from Vemo went in much more smoothly (the rubber seal is not that big it seems).

So far so good, so I completed the replacement work, cleared all the DTCs in Vida and tried to start.
Unfortunately, nothing happened. I started 5x, but the engine did not want to start.
Then I cleared again all the DTCs, switched the ignition on level 2 a few times, and tried again.
It took about another 5 tries until the engine finally started to run.

I then again went to VIDA to check for the ECM-P033600 Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance DTC, and sadly it was there again.
I cleared the DTCs again, following now the instruction with ignition off, Engine start: rev above 1500, then stop, start again and let idle for 30sec.
This time the engine usually started the 1st or the 2nd time, but to me it did not make a reliable impression.

Can it be that the ECM needs to “learn” again how to work with the correct signal? Or should it work straight from the beginning?
What I noticed is that the sensor was mounted on some kind of a distance piece (original from Volvo). But since the old and the new sensor have the same dimensions, I think it’s correct like this. This piece is also quite thick, 3-5mm, and it mounted by two screws to the engine on the left (when looking from above).
Edit: I checked now Vida, and yea, this piece (bracket, No. 7) is how it exactly looks. There is also no spacer or sth below screw 6, so everything should be mounted fine as well. The Sensor I used is this one 0 986 280 495. I will try tomorrow to drive a bit, rev it at higher rpm, maybe there are indeed some wrong adaptations..
