New data from JudgeService reveals that 96% of customers would recommend RAC Dealer Network retailers, with a majority reporting high satisfaction with their purchases and the service received.
The data, gathered over six months since JudgeService began collaborating with the RAC Dealer Network in March, involves feedback from nearly 65,000 individuals.
Lee Coomber, RAC Client Director at Assurant, said: “The metrics here underline the quality of service that is being provided to our customers.
“It’s interesting to note that the data also shows that more than a third of the people surveyed have bought more than one car from the supplying dealer which, in a motor retail sector where customer loyalty is at a premium, is exceptional.
“Also, the findings show the importance of the RAC name to consumers. In a warranty sector where there is little or no public recognition of most brands, the presence of the RAC provides a high level of reassurance. Car buyers correctly recognise that the RAC would only work with dealers of the highest quality.
“Reviews and feedback are an essential part of motor retail today and working with JudgeService is providing our dealers with market-leading tools to help them to build and manage their reputation.
“As well as being available online, all customer reviews are hosted centrally on the main RAC web site so that anyone searching for an RAC dealer can see the rating of individual retailers and read about verified, real world experiences from other consumers.”
95% of customers were satisfied with their vehicle purchase, 96% appreciated the attitude of the salesperson they interacted with, 74% of respondents rated their supplying dealer as 10 out of 10 for overall service and 58% cited the presence of an RAC branded warranty as influential in their decision to buy from that particular retailer.
